5 Absolute Must-Plan-Ahead Occasions in Navarre, Florida
5 Absolute Must-Plan-Ahead Occasions in Navarre, Florida
If you’re planning a visit to Navarre in 2026, there are five major occasions you’ll want to mark on your calendar—and book early for. Navarre Family Watersports Adventure Complex is home to a private, customers-only beach, a seasonal inflatable waterpark, pontoons, Waverunners, kayaks, paddle boards, and our one-of-a-kind three-story ropes course overlooking the Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf.
Our season opens in early March and runs through mid–late October depending on the weather, with a special opening during Christmas and New Year’s for holiday travelers.
Here are the top 5 occasions when demand is highest—and when planning ahead makes all the difference.
1. Spring Break – March 15–21, 2026

Spring Break Fun
Spring Break in Navarre is unlike anywhere else in Florida. Families love our pristine, sugar-white beaches, calm turquoise water, and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Locals often enjoy a stay-cation, while visitors from across the Southeast travel here for a more affordable, family-friendly alternative to Pensacola Beach or Destin.
If you want the excitement, you’re close enough to take a pontoon day-trip to Crab Island—but the real magic is found right here on the Santa Rosa Sound. With peaceful coves, wildlife viewing, and space to breathe, it’s the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.
Tip: Spring Break week is one of the first major surges of the season. Pontoon rentals, Waverunners, waterpark access, and ropes course times fill quickly—booking early is essential.
2. Memorial Day Weekend – May 22–25, 2026

Memorial Day Weekend Fun
Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer and is a time to honor those who sacrificed for our country. It’s also a weekend when families enjoy sunshine, long weekends, and time on the water.
While grills aren’t allowed on our boats, guests love packing coolers full of favorite picnic foods, heading out into the Sound, and enjoying a full day of sunshine and relaxation. It’s the first major holiday weekend of summer—and one of the busiest.
Tip: Book pontoons and Waverunners at least 2–3 weeks in advance for this weekend. It sells out fast every year.
3. Fourth of July Weekend – July 2–5, 2026

4th of July Fun
The Fourth of July is peak season in Navarre—a weekend full of sunshine, celebration, and nonstop activity at Navarre Family Watersports. Families spend their days on our pontoons and Waverunners, cool off on the inflatable waterpark, or take in sweeping views from the ropes course.
And on July 4th, there’s an added treat: renting a pontoon for the Navarre Beach fireworks show. Watching fireworks reflect off the water from the deck of your boat is a memory your family won’t forget.
Tip: This is our highest demand weekend of the entire year. Pontoons and Waverunners are often fully reserved months in advance.
4. Blue Angels Air Show – July 16–18, 2026

Blue Angels Fun
The annual Blue Angels Air Show is one of the Gulf Coast’s most iconic events. The jets perform over Pensacola Beach and the Santa Rosa Sound—creating an unforgettable experience when viewed from the water.
Taking a pontoon out gives you a front-row seat, but plan ahead. Heavy boat traffic can make the water choppy, causing pontoons to porpoise, and seagrass stirred up by traffic may require taking things slowly. Still, between dolphins playing in the wakes, incredible views, and the Blue Angels overhead, it’s a can’t-miss experience.
Tip: Plan for a full day on the water, bring plenty of water and snacks, and book early—this weekend sells out every year.
5. Labor Day Weekend – September 4–8, 2026

Labor Day Weekend Fun
Labor Day Weekend is the grand finale of summer in Navarre and the last major holiday of our season. Families take advantage of warm water, calm mornings, and the final long weekend before school starts again.
It’s one of the best times of year to enjoy pontoon trips, Waverunners, paddle boarding, or simply relaxing on our private customers-only beach. While we remain open through mid/late October depending on weather, Labor Day is the final major peak of the season.
Tip: This weekend often books quickly—especially for pontoons—so planning ahead is key.
Final Thoughts
Whether you’re here for the thrill of the Fourth of July fireworks, the serenity of Spring Break, or the excitement of the Blue Angels soaring overhead, Navarre is the perfect destination to make lifelong memories.
If you’re planning a 2026 visit, the best time to book is now—these five occasions fill up quickly every year.
